Turning Children’s Drawings to Toys by Child’s Own Studio
Remember all that crazy shit you drew as a kid? True story: when I was but a wee lad I was fond of drawing bones with wings on them. There was a whole family of them. Why? Who the hell knows, kids are weird! But how awesome would have been if a cool company like this existed: where they take children’s drawings and convert them to real world toys. Maybe one day my Flying Bones with faces can get the same treatment. Check out tons more at their flickr

I keep seeing different iterations of this company’s work but I just can’t get enough. Great stuff. Pip and Char get cracking on some crazy drawings already!

Well, don’t expect me to be too impressed. I just saw this picture of Garrett Hedlund in a towel.

Is this real? Yes please!

I may have posted this before… But I just really especially love that the gentleman is standing in the dirt and bushes :)

hott-librarians:

Happy Birthday, Marilyn Monroe.

It’s a goddamn shame that a smart, beautiful woman like Marilyn had such a tragic end. Even though she’s famously known as one of the world’s most iconic sex symbols, she was so much more than that… She did not believe in the sexual exploitation of women, and rejected two scripts that she considered to be ‘over-sexualized.’ She also hated ‘dumb blonde’ stereotypes, and rejected roles that made her look uneducated. She was willing to walk out on a contract, which was unheard of before Marilyn came along. And she was the third woman in history to form her own production company. So in addition to being a pretty face, Marilyn Monroe was an ambitious woman. A feminist, before the feminist movement. And an inspiration: “You’re beautiful. It’s society that’s ugly.” Rest in peace, Marilyn Monroe! And like Pudge, I don’t where ‘there’ is, but I hope it’s great.

“Thomas Edison’s last words were ‘It’s very beautiful over there’. I don’t know where there is, but I believe it’s somewhere, and I hope it’s beautiful.”
